In a few days it will be the month of October already and Christmas preparations will more than ever be in full gear. As of the time I’m writing this, I have three SALE alerts from malls showing of price cuts as low as 70% off their goods. It makes me want to go shopping until I drop dead from exhaustion.

I also am making it a point to “conserve” resources without sacrificing the thoughtfulness of giving. Recession has hit us hard and we would not be able to give as much as we used to like last year. I will, however, still be sending out our annual Christmas cards. It is my way of sending updates of our families too, as I write a newsletter of sorts and include our recent family portraits.
