The holidays are here and that means parties, foods, gifts, camaraderie and outfits that need to be planned well. Dressing up for the holidays need not be expensive. Take a look at your current wardrobe and decide which ones need spicing up, with an addition of a light jacket, scarf or necklace – it’s really all about the accessories.
Make sure that you dress appropriately for parties you are invited to. It would never hurt to ask for a dress code if you are not sure what to wear. And based from experience, layering is the trick. Nothing beats a good pair of sexy jeans and being in heels makes all the difference too. You do not need to buy new designer clothes! Investing on winter clothes like scarves, jackets and turtlenecks will be nice.
Check out these style tips for women:
- Put together an outfit that you feel really defines you. If you’re a cheerful person, try bright colors. If you’re low key, comfort clothes. Artistic? Try untraditional cuts or play with different patterns.
- Once you’ve created your outfit, think about why it defines you. What is it that you like so much? The way the different colors look together? The variety of fabrics? The simplicity?
- Whatever it is that makes you love that outfit should guide your shopping. Look for clothes that share these qualities, and you’ll end up with a style of your own and a wardrobe that you love.
