The kids’ collection Stella McCartney designed for Gap hits stores November 2. Sizes are for newborns up to 12-year-olds and prices range from $14 for wool tights up to $128 for a military jacket. Some pieces are cheap, miniature versions of McCartney’s ready-to-wear pieces, such as a gray sweater dress with a leopard on it, skinny gray jeans with ankle zippers, and a gray cable-knit cardigan dress.

I have been aching to go on vacation right now, well scratch that. I have been aching to go on vacation FOR YEARS. While everybody has been to Boracay or Bohol or even La Luz in Batangas, I haven’t! I’m 27 and I haven’t even been to Bora! Can you believe that? Can you see how I feel so pathetic at times? Sometimes I just think that Im saving up for a big travel plan – or that someday Ill get lucky and win or get something to be able to travel around the world. Sometimes I rationalize that Im not really a beach person so Im not losing out on a lot of things. But things I see on the web convince me otherwise. There are adult resorts we can try but I doubt the husband will allow me to because this is not a singles vacation even if it’s part of our adult vacations, meaning no kids in tow!

Lately, there have been all inclusive resorts popping out with so much variety that you are guaranteed to really have a good time. They even offer all inclusive resorts for those that are adventurous and who love those kinds of vacations.

I have very nice memories of my own prom 13 years ago – I was able to experience it twice, in my junior and senior year and I was lucky enough to be crowned Miss Prom during my senior year too. The second style is more classic for me – it can be worn more than once too. Alas, I wont ever be going to prom anymore so I turn my fascination to wedding dresses – I can get married again when we renew our vows. Mori Lee’s designs have been catching my eye lately.

The holidays are here and that means parties, foods, gifts, camaraderie and outfits that need to be planned well. Dressing up for the holidays need not be expensive. Take a look at your current wardrobe and decide which ones need spicing up, with an addition of a light jacket, scarf or necklace – it’s really all about the accessories.

Make sure that you dress appropriately for parties you are invited to. It would never hurt to ask for a dress code if you are not sure what to wear. And based from experience, layering is the trick. Nothing beats a good pair of sexy jeans and being in heels makes all the difference too. You do not need to buy new designer clothes! Investing on winter clothes like scarves, jackets and turtlenecks will be nice.
