Here we go, I am sure you would get a lot more opinions in fashion blogs across the web too, some of the ones I chose were the famous “worsts” but I have one who I think will be a controversial choice – better read it here than in a carinsurancelist blog as they say.

Zoe Saldana looks like she got lost on the way to the prom. Her sparkly Givenchy dress has a blinding top, and the bottom full of light purple ruffles makes her look like a flower in bloom. The monochromatic dress is just so wrong, wrong wrong!!

Miley Cyrus looked like a hot mess  with the frumpy hair bump and low cut Jenny Packham dress. Let’s not forget, she is 17 years old, but if she’s going to show up to the Oscars, she needs to show some class. And the tan lines could use some work. The dress rocked – no doubt about it, but it goes to show that the dress is fully dependent on how the person carries it – a better posture would have rocked this.

Sarah Jessica Parker looks mellow yellow wearing Chanel, but she has a whole lot of hair. We’re pretty sure Carrie Bradshaw would not approve of these extensions. Plus, the awkwardly placed flowers and form of the gown hang on this skinny star. It was just cinched in all the wrong places. If she was waif-like and as tall as a tower, she might get away with such a formless gown, but as it is, it was all just hanging down.

And the Oscar goes to … oh wait, that’s just Sandra Bullock walking the red carpet. We’re so intrigued with the details, but she looks more like an Olympic skater than an Oscar nominee in her Marchesa dress.

I read a lot of blogs raving about her dress and I was thinking, “what is wrong with me? why dont I like it?” Let me find the way to reason: The appliques on her top is not elegant at all, makes her look more flat chested and the fit is just so ill. Those who have seen her movie The Proposal know how hot her body is and this gown is not just making it.

For me, that is. I can’t help but notice layers and sheer organza and details are making a comeback! Talk about girly – I absolutely love it!

Here are my top choices for the Best-Dressed List:

With her signature tan skin and a new Veronica Lake-inspired ‘do, presenter Cameron Diaz is absolutely radiant in this gold sparkly Oscar de la Renta creation.

Pale peach is the hardest color to pull off on the red carpet; on most women, it comes off looking flesh-tone. Demi Moore doesn’t have that problem in this ruffled and tiered Atelier Versace strapless silk organza gown.

Coming next, my votes for Worst-Dressed!

Do you want to own a piece of history? Invest on getting an authentic persian rug.

I have some basis on this advice. Iran is known to be the oldest and most powerful country in the Middle East – in fact, it is known as Persia during that time. Remember all the movies and history that involved Persia? It is the melting pot of culture and the arts, it is considered to be the home of the unique and great arts. Court weaving, together with the arts of calligraphy, miniature painting, and tile work, flourished to exceptional heights. Owning persian rugs were considered family heirlooms before as it involved painstakingly hand tying thousands of knots; it is carefully and patiently made to have an outstanding outcome and unique design. Now it can be bought online. The material comes usually from camels in Persia, with motifs suchs as the Herati and Rosette designs.

Now, once you are decided to invest on one, consider getting from the Persian rugs – a2z rug store. They have rugs at discount prices and provide free shipping in the UK, along with a 365-Day Return policy and a 120% Price Guarantee! You just need to have choices for the color, size and style you want and go from there!

Let’s face it, having a bachelor’s degree in this day and age is not something that can guarantee a job. Even people who are currently in a job needs to study and get a master’s degree to be eligible for promotions and raises, even to keep their existing position in the company. Most employers are quite flexible though, even handing out grants to employees for scholarships and setting up time flexi schedules so employees can study.

Because of the internet, you can now manage your time easier and be able to finally get a degree or earn your master’s. Among the many options of online universities out there, Western Governor’s University is still the best bet to earn an  online degree, even with the added benefit of being able to expand your network as it has 17,000 students across the 50 states.
