While I am very much satisfied with my pink Dell Inspiron 1525, there are times when I think I should get a new one – as girly as my current pink laptop, but faster and operating on Windows 7. G (that’s my laptop’s name!) is a Custom Laptop I ordered from Dell and at that time, it was best deal out there. Now, she probably would retail around $450 (I got her for $700).
A Custom Computer has always been preferred by my husband too. He says it allows consumers to pick certain features they need (like faster memory, a bigger hard drive, an advanced video card, etc) without having to fork out such a huge amount of money. Custom Computers are now being offered by most manufacturers too. You get to be charged a certain fee and it takes a longer time to get processed and shipped, but most of those who have tried it have said it was worth the wait.
Custom Laptops can also be availed of nowadays. When I ordered G, it was only Dell who was offering custom made laptops so I was left with no option.
