I have said this before – I will never alter or enhance any part of my face. I respect what other people think about cosmetic surgery and if that makes them happier and more complete, I totally understand them. I just feel that if I change anything on my face, it will no longer look like “me”, no matter how prettier I will be.
If there is one thing I am actually considering doing, that would be liposuction. Two kids, a huge weight gain with pregnancies, and a yo-yo weight gain/loss, has left me with saggy skin and an stomach that has seen its worst days. A tummy tuck, liposuction and breast lift would be needed to restore everything. You guessed it right – I would need a total mommy make-over! My only problem is that I am so scared to go under the knife and have anesthesia. I have nightmares not waking up after.
Studies show that liposuction procedures in the US are more expensive, so people are going out of the country to have the medical procedure elsewhere. Doctors are still competent and medical centers are more than adequate.
Affordable liposuction is possible, but there are additional costs that have to figure into the total budget, such as:
- Travel Ticket
- Lodging
- Rental Cars
- Food
- Time-off work to account for travel
The above all needs to be taken into account, which will give you the true picture of how much money you are spending. One of the added benefits, however, is that you can choose a destination that you truly want to visit. It will be an added-value if you enjoy your stay, rather than merely flying in and out as soon as possible.
