Cath Kidston Spot Day Bag (Red)

While I do not need to look for discount uniforms since I do not work – I do need to revamp my bags since I use one everyday. I don’t need a designer bag, just a simple but quality and sturdy bag. I am done with Longchamp bags – I actually need one right now but I cannot get a hold of the color I want. So here comes a bag I have been coveting for a while – the Cath Kidston Spot day Bag.

The Coach Legacy Collection

The Coach Legacy Collection

Men’s Leather Caps were initially part of the Coach collection from years back but somehow they have graduated and went with bags, eyeglasses and wallets. It’s a good thing though that they are bringing back old models of bags through the Coach Legacy Collection!

When one thinks classic handbag, Coach comes to mind immediately — it’s one of the most searched purses on the Internet.) The leather goods maker started making fashionable, durable bags in 1941 and became a pioneer in color when they released their first blue bag in 1962.

The 71-year-old company has decided to freshen up its image and brand. This fall, look for Coach’s newest collection, Legacy, a modern collection inspired by iconic styles from their archive. Some silhouettes are updates of their most popular designs, while others are inspired by classics and finished with Coach details. You can get an iconic Large Duffle or a Medium Candace Carryall (a customer favorite) for $398.

Here are all its colors — take your pick!

Taking Care of Your Bags

A few weeks ago I decided to unclutter my closet and I checked my leather bags (a Coach Zoe leather bag and LV Delightful MM) – I was surprised my Coach Zoe was in dire need of some moisturizing! Here are some tips I found online on how to take care of bags – read on especially if you have designer or pricier bags.

You will not have to click here for outdoor fountain – just read on to see tips to keep your bag in pristine condition:

Treat it. For leather and canvas bags, it’s wise to treat them before taking them out into the wild (or just out of the dust bag). That way, the bag’s surface is preconditioned to weather to storm, literally, in those situations where you may just be caught in a downpour sans umbrella.
Brush it. For suede bags, spring for a suede-friendly brush, like this brush-and-eraser combo ($5). To “groom,” all you have to do is brush gently to get stains out. Be wary of applying too much pressure; you might just take off some of the suede with all that strength.
Spot treatment. Take care not to use the wipe on any areas other than the affected one, otherwise you could spread the discoloration elsewhere.
Show your leather some love. Everyone — and we’ll include bags here — needs a pep talk.
Save your old pillowcases for the greater good. If you don’t happen to have a dust bag on you (or your bag didn’t come with one), a pillowcase will do the trick for keeping your off-duty bags fresh and protected. You want to steer clear of storing your accessories in plastics bags, especially if they’re made of leather or suede, because it will dry out the hide.
All things in moderation. We know it’s easy to throw everything into our bags and hit the road, but it’s good to take it easy on them. Translation: don’t overfill your bag. By putting too much in, the bag can lose its original shape.

Bags That Every Woman Needs

I have recently blogged about my itch to get another bag. Though I am not itching to get a designer bag, I still don’t have the budget to get ANY kind of bag right now. I read an article online about the bags that all women need to have, at least one of each and I think I’ve got three out of the five already. I am not one to hoard, since I buy and sell those that no longer fit my style or I don’t use that much. You also won’t see me buying a designer bag for a dog bed too :P

A Party Purse: Every girl needs a cross-body or clutch bag for going out — be it black, leather, sparkly or gold. Not too fancy, but not too casual, this is your go-to for everything from date night to girls night.
A Tote Bag: This carry-all is for the days when you’re toting everything but the kitchen sink (your laptop, lunch, work-out gear – it all goes in here). Be it leather, canvas, or nylon, this bag should go with a lot and hold a lot. - HAVE
The Evening Bag: Sophisticated occasions (weddings, galas, etc) call for a sophisticated evening bag. A clutch in neutral, easy-to-match hues (black, gold, silver) is the optimal choice.
The Shoulder Bag: This bag is your workhorse – you carry it to work, out shopping, etc; works best in a neutral “goes-with-everything” shade of leather, like black or camel. Expert tip: opt for a designer bag which will last longer. - HAVE
The Designer Splurge: Start saving, because a designer handbag is a must-have part of every woman’s collection. The lasting quality and style make it worth it. After all, this is the bag that will never go out of style and will be in your wardrobe rotation forever. Plus, your daughter will thank you when you pass it down to her! – HAVE

So I guess I should start saving for small clutches!

New Colors of Longchamp Le Pliage

I have been trying to control my itch to buy a new bag these days. But it gets hard when temptation is everywhere. I just told myself that when I sell at least one Coach bag I can buy one of these beauties – the question is which one?

The new colors the Longchamp Le Pliage is so tempting!
