Shopping and wardrobe space are inversely proportional to each other. Whenever we spend too much shopping, our closets suffer. And how do you remedy that? You need to have an organized wardrobe closet for you to enjoy the fruits of your shopping! Everything must have a place of its own, even with paper clutter such as birth announcements.

I saw this at the Decor8 site and would love to get my hands on those IKEA organizers – pretty much soon, as I need to prepare our closets for the busy month of June!

I like the idea of adding a mirror to turn the wardrobe into a little vanity.

Here we go, I am sure you would get a lot more opinions in fashion blogs across the web too, some of the ones I chose were the famous “worsts” but I have one who I think will be a controversial choice – better read it here than in a carinsurancelist blog as they say.

Zoe Saldana looks like she got lost on the way to the prom. Her sparkly Givenchy dress has a blinding top, and the bottom full of light purple ruffles makes her look like a flower in bloom. The monochromatic dress is just so wrong, wrong wrong!!

Miley Cyrus looked like a hot mess  with the frumpy hair bump and low cut Jenny Packham dress. Let’s not forget, she is 17 years old, but if she’s going to show up to the Oscars, she needs to show some class. And the tan lines could use some work. The dress rocked – no doubt about it, but it goes to show that the dress is fully dependent on how the person carries it – a better posture would have rocked this.

Sarah Jessica Parker looks mellow yellow wearing Chanel, but she has a whole lot of hair. We’re pretty sure Carrie Bradshaw would not approve of these extensions. Plus, the awkwardly placed flowers and form of the gown hang on this skinny star. It was just cinched in all the wrong places. If she was waif-like and as tall as a tower, she might get away with such a formless gown, but as it is, it was all just hanging down.

And the Oscar goes to … oh wait, that’s just Sandra Bullock walking the red carpet. We’re so intrigued with the details, but she looks more like an Olympic skater than an Oscar nominee in her Marchesa dress.

I read a lot of blogs raving about her dress and I was thinking, “what is wrong with me? why dont I like it?” Let me find the way to reason: The appliques on her top is not elegant at all, makes her look more flat chested and the fit is just so ill. Those who have seen her movie The Proposal know how hot her body is and this gown is not just making it.

For me, that is. I can’t help but notice layers and sheer organza and details are making a comeback! Talk about girly – I absolutely love it!

With her signature tan skin and a new Veronica Lake-inspired ‘do, presenter Cameron Diaz is absolutely radiant in this gold sparkly Oscar de la Renta creation.

Pale peach is the hardest color to pull off on the red carpet; on most women, it comes off looking flesh-tone. Demi Moore doesn’t have that problem in this ruffled and tiered Atelier Versace strapless silk organza gown.

Coming next, my votes for Worst-Dressed!

Who would not want to have a piece of this proud collection? I am pretty sure Pinoys overseas are asking for these jackets as soon as the news came out.

Look who went from “fat” to fabulous in just a month!

Among the Kardashian sisters, stars of their own reality show, Khloe, the youngest among the three Kardashians, is the last person who you would think would appear in a lifestyle and fitness magazine not once, but twice, wearing hot bikinis. Life has certainly turned around for this newlywed, as she has lost 25 pounds last summer in the span of 28 days.

Those are her pictures when she was a size 10 and size 6, respectively. Still, criticisms are still being thrown at her, the two from Spencer Pratt and Janice Dickinson. According to an online article at LifeandStyleMag, “Supermodel Janice Dickinson attacked the star saying, “There’s no way she would become a fashion icon. Khloé looks like a heifer.” And Spencer Pratt recently said, “Khloé still needs to work out more. I recommend she go to theheidimontagworkout.com so she can get fantastic curves like my wife’s.”

Khloe has learned to accept this and even has fought back. For one thing, she tells that she will never be like her sisters, who are petite and delicate-boned, being only 5” and 5″’2”. She is a tall woman at 5’10”!

“Way before, I was a size 10. Then I went to an 8, and now I’m a 6,” Khloé tells Life & Style. “I don’t think with my bone structure I could get much smaller than a 6. This is my body — and I love it.”

Celebrities have always been under the microscope, papparazzis noting and taking pictures of the slightest weight gain or belly bump. That is why most celebrities are on a perpetual diet. It must be really hard for them, keeping up with odd and long hours filming on the set, the pressure of needing to look glamorous all the time and to be disciplined with eating (and having to find time to exercise). No wonder most of them take diet pills to help them lose and maintain their weight. One of the widely-used and most-accepted is xenical. Xenical is a prescription drug that helps block about one-third of the fat in the foods you eat from being absorbed by your body.

Of course, seeing the stars all-dolled up and looking totally glam makes me want to take the plunge and go with taking the natural weight loss supplements‘ trend. The Golden Globes is one of the very few award shows I really watch because I cannot wait to check out the fashion styles (the second and third are the MTV music and video awards!).

We are often enamored by the beauty and glamor of models in the cover of magazines. They seem so perfect, without a misplaced hair in sight, having the perfect curves in the right places. Some cynics might just attribute everything to Photoshop and while this might be true in most cases (a little editing would help!), it needs to be remembered that beauty needs to be there in the first place. The rest, well, can be achieved with a little work, enhancing and “faking”.

Take for example, breast enhancements. I think if you run a survey right now, 90% of women would reply that the part of their bodies they are most unhappy about would be their breasts. Most of them are open to surgery but are scared to have something foreign in their body for a long time, so what do they do? Fake it!

Much has been said about Alice Cullen’s fashion style. I personally dig it and Ashley Greene wouldn’t have been anymore perfect for than she already is. Alice Cullen’s pixie style haircut is an ongoing trend and I am pretty sure in a week or so, Alice Cullen’s fashion style in New Moon the movie will have styles and outfits out.

Now that Twilight fever has snuck right back in because of New Moon the movie, how much am I willing to bet that crazy Twi-hard fans would avail of payday loans just to get this Bella Swan Green Birthday Dress?
