Are you ready for some serious partying on New Year’s Eve?

New Year’s Eve parties usually involve some heavy partying, often with great food (finger foods + a lot of booze), great music, nice set up with floral arrangements. You can go art deco glam and do an outfit like the one pictured above! The stylist’s peg was Charlize Theron’s gold-white-black outfit.

Play up the drama with a mix of gold chains, pendants, and hoop earrings. Then, accentuate the ’20s style by topping the look off with mod spectator-esque heels, a quirky black and metal bar clutch, and glossy fuchsia lips.

Pantone has recently released its choice for color of the year in 2012.

And it’s Tangerine Tango!

I am pretty sure most fashion designers and home designers/interior designers will be incorporating the color into their 2012 projects such as plaques, wall paintings, clothes, accessories and more. The image you see above is just a sample of what Target is already offering!

I have seen a lot of great things at Fashion Week’s stills this week and one of them is the GAP Spring/Summer Collection for 2012. The Dokmee document management software I have been learning need to be set aside because I needed to drool over these colors!

Stripes and colorblock clothes are still trending and so do plaid shirts but for men this time.

Madewell came out with their lookbook for fall 2011 and I am wishing I can lose weight fast enough so I can actually wear some nice clothes. Unfortunately, not even fat burners can help me lose weight that fast.

I love the layered clothes and the bags – satchels and hobo bags. I gotta love fall season! What’s your favorite season?

Fuller figures and more forgiving clothes-silhouettes are back, thanks to the TV Series Mad Men. Designed by Janie Bryant, Banana Republic’s new line is inspired by the fashion theme in the TV series. While actors work out and deliver blood work exam terminology, we are also drawn to their costumes and character outfits. It sells – Banana Republic has picked it up, obviously!

Katie Holmes is so pretty here – and the whole Ann Taylor look is just “so her”. Don’t you agree? I love her make-up here as well. Her “leave-it-at-the-way-it-is” hair just makes it more natural for her. A friend of mine loves Katie Holmes – she is very open in admitting to everybody how the actress is her idol when it comes to fashion. Most of what she wears are from pegs of Katie’s outfits from paparazzi shots, the red carpet and magazine spreads.

Girl’s Clothing has never been the same with the influx of retailers offering a variety of choices, catering to women, ladies, girls and teenagers from all walks of life, in all shapes and sizes.

When it comes to fashion these days, I can safely say that there is not better time to be a girl than today! You can express yourself freely with your choice of clothes. You can buy clothes at a cheaper or more affordable price without sacrificing quality, comfort and design! Creativity in fashion has never been as full-blown and top of the notch now more than before.

I personally am excited for what fashion can still give and become a few years from now!

This is why thermal clothing is essential during the colder months for one to be fashionably dressed and yet still be able to stay warm. Here are some tips on how to buy thermal clothes:

1 Determine what thickness or “weight” to buy, depending on conditions and activity: the colder the temperature and the less activity you’ll be engaged in, the thicker the underwear.

2 Look for material that captures moisture and dries quickly.

3 Ask about odor retention. Thermal clothes would be like your second skin so it would be best for it to have odor retention properties.
