Princess Beatrice’s royal hat is finally up for auction in eBay, with proceeds going to charity. The hat is now at $10,000 and while it didn’t serve its purpose wowing people during the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Princess William and Kate Middleton), at least the Philip Treacy hat will serve its purpose and give to people in need. I bet those with royal blood are laughing over tea and smoking on ashton cigars because of ridiculous high price. Who would want to use the hat anyway, or even keep it for posterity’s sake? (Just my humble opinion.)
Everyday you hear it on the news, there are recalls on toys, automobiles, replacement parts, machines and most of all, prescribed medicines. It’s tragic to hear that individuals who trusted in the effectiveness of the medications and the trustworthiness of the pharmaceutical companies promoting them could be left with a lifetime of health consequences as a result of taking these medications.
Most recently, Accutane, a popular drug for treating severe acne has been recalled.
After years in the market, Accutane was linked in studies to the development of long term bowel issues, such as ulcerative colitis, Chrons’ disease, and inflammatory bowel disease. All three of these illnesses affect the digestive tract. These are significant health issues, which can cause a great deal of pain, inconvenience, and embarrassment for sufferers.
In addition to the recently discovered link to bowel problems, Accutane has been suspected of causing depression among users as well. Many individuals who have taken this drug reported an onset of emotional instability and mood swings, as well as general feelings of sadness and despair. Most disturbingly, some reports have even linked taking Accutane to suicides. That is why an Accutane Lawsuit was filed by so many consumers.
It is similar to the Trasylol lawsuit.

I am like most women – I know nothing about computer repair! But I have to say that probably applies to a lot of men these days too! I use my computer for work, use the internet 99% of the time to do everything – shop, correspond with clients, research. Whenever something breaks down with my laptop or computer, I am completely clueless! I wish I knew better but thankfully I have discovered a great service company in the Portland area!
Portland computer repair has changed since PCMD, Inc. came into the picture. This Portland pc repair company services both small business and home computers in more ways than one. The first great thing is that they are available seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. They also provide onsite (in your home or small business) and remote services. Either way for me saves a great deal of inconvenience by letting them handle everything without me working myself through the tangled wires of my computer!
Their Portland computer support expertise covers both PCs and MACs and they do virus & spyware removal, hardware or software installation, data backup, or operating system installation. They also have what they have branded as "PCMD on Demand" wherein they fix your computer remotely over the internet at a lower cost.
I spend countless hours surfing the net all the time. Sometimes I do it because I need to – work requires me to stay on top of everything all the time so I can write about it first, sometimes I do it because I am bored and Facebook updates no longer amuse me (I blocked all game applications two weeks ago, it was not becoming healthy anymore).
So what do I stumble upon?
I get to see weird houses which hold so much personality and speak so much of their owners. The tag line of their site, “A House Can Be So Much More Than a House” because you see pineapple houses, pirate coves, airplane homes and mushroom houses – all inhabited by common, normal people! There are also book reviews which I find helpful because I love to read books. There is a site that offers seven unique reviews on each book all the time. They give you seven book reviews on any given subject – from as simple as dog training to becoming a lawyer, they have got it covered and have seven book recommendations to give. If you need some sound marketing advice, you can get some sound advice from the site that tackles multimedia marketing without losing concept of universal marketing: With the rise of technology, the world has become simultaneously much larger and surprisingly smaller. Now if you want to know random stuff good for trivia, you can read about some of the country’s stuipd laws and pray that you get to have the wisdom to elect better lawmakers next time.!
This woman is superhuman, no way she can have a tummy like that after a few months of giving birth! Life is not fair!
It seems great genes, a controlled weight pregnancy and strong abdominal muscles make a great combination rather than snacking on slimming pills! The supermodel Gisele Bundchen-Brady is now part of the elite hot mommahs of supermodel-stardom Heidi Klum and Cindy Crawford.

Here she was preggo:
Look at her now. The nerve to have a sideview shot! Her stomach is HOLLOW!
But she redeems herself when all women can relate to this:

A fellow Pinay has done us proud!
I have not heard of any news of beautiful fellow Pinays winning in beauty and modelling contests as of late. I am sure it is not because we are not worthy of the title but because judges have different tastes in mostly different countries. Filipinas are best known for their natural beauty and feminine figure (they are very dainty and oftentimes petite or slim – no need for fda approved diet pills for sure) and Charlene is definitely one of them.
Charlene “Chat” Almarvez, a 16-year-old model from Laguna, beat more than 30 contestants and won first runner-up in the recently concluded Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World. Aside from winning a US $150,000 exclusive contract with Ford New York, Almarvez will also appear in Fashion Week Fall next month.
Almarvez endured five days full of photo tests, walking lessons and interviews with some shopping and samba on the side at Sao Paulo, Brazil. She competed with models from Canada, France, Venezuela, Mexico, Australia, Kenya, Sweden, Bulgaria, Spain, United Kingdom, USA and Slovenia, among others. Karlina of Latvia won first place, followed by Almarvez, then Isabelle of Sweden, Olivia of the USA, Maryna of Belarus, Grace of Australia and Bruna of Brazil.

I have been getting a lot of questions about starting a blog and how to maintain it. It is basically easy. You would not need web hosting if you start with the free blogging platform services around like Blogger. You can redirect or forward your domain name to your blogspot blog. However, I also would want to recommend using WordPress as your blogging platform so you might want to consider getting webhosting services for that – it is easier. You can find a lot of website hosting options online, my domains are hosted by a friend who is a reseller of web site hosting packages so I can get it cheaper and she maintains and installs everything for me so consider me lucky.
Make sure you are updated with web hosting news as well, like when to upgrade your WordPress every now and then. You can find webhosting news on your host’s blog or news online.
You can always register the domain name with your host, but make sure that the registration is in your name. If you will be managing a business (an online store for example), you can get dedicated hosting.

By now you might have heard about the tragic flooding in the Philippines that took more than month’s usual rainfall in 12 hours.
The country’s shoe district, Marikina City, was among the cities badly flooded up. Two weeks after the flooding, many people are still in evacuation centers. And people are still trying to clean up their muddied homes.
Shoe museums though, like the one that housed the country’s former First Lady Imelda Marcos’ historical (and equally controversial) shoes, were quick to save the precious collection by moving them up the shelves. About 100 pairs got wet but are now generally OK and drying. The shoe collection, amounting to 1,220 pairs, were left when the couple fled to exile in Hawaii during their ouster in 1986.
A Moving Company should be contacted in cases like this. If the museum is still trying to recover from the flooding, it would be best to move precious collectibles in an art storage. Companies like the Humboldt Movers Inc. offer this kind of service which has temperature and humidity control. Museums and people who have rare collections should consider investing on a portable storage facility in cases like these – where “acts of God” are unavoidable.
