Five days after typhoon “Ondoy” left the Philippines with a death toll in the hundreds, people displaced from their homes in the hundreds of thousands and damage to property in the hundred millions, once again, another typhoon “Pepeng” hits the northern Luzon area. This time not only hundreds of thousands of Filipinos were displaced but crops valued in the billions were lost. Roads were impassable and landslildes killed hundreds. This situation is one of the saddest that we as a nation have ever experienced.

Christmas is fast approaching and sales are everywhere! I am subscribed to mall alerts and online store’s new arrivals and sales so one e-mail is coming after another.
