loafers

It seems that loafers are back on the trend. A couple of celebrities are being seen wearing it all the time and it has sent women to stores looking for styles they can wear. Too bad they couldn’t wear it in the red carpet during Oscars (I am sure the carpet cleaners raleigh nc services would need to do some deep cleaning if it were raining that night). But they seem to be back!

Here are my picks:

It has been almost ten years since I wore heels higher than 3 inches. It made me remember how easily I was able to walk even in stilletos. Of course, I was only a size 6 then and did not need adapexin pills.

I wonder when I would be able to walk in heels this high, or this gorgeous (in Louboutins nonetheless!)

I am tall and on the heavy side (plus extremely flat-footed) so I have come to appreciate ballet flats. I am grateful that they are back on the trends these days. I was looking for the cheapest auto insurance for my brother’s car when I happen to see this – ways to wear ballet flats! Now I can expand and experiment on different styles!

Aside from looking for some herbal diet pills that work, I have been looking for some workable boots for my height and built that I can actually wear many times. It needs to be flat, not embellished and classic enough to be worn with anything, if you get my drift.

I saw these online and wonder if I can carry knee high boots:

I have always wondered how women can go crazy and buy shoes worth a thousand dollars only to have them touch the ground and wear them down. Until I went crazy and started lusting after designer shoes as well. The only consolation I have is I have size 11 feet so buying shoes are hard for me especially since I live in an Asian country where median shoe size is 5! So when I find a store that carries my size, I hoard. I also plan purchases overseas over shoe sales – that’s how much I love shoes.

I am not exactly one who wears high heels like Carrie Bradshaw all the time. I am 5’8” and a bit on the heavy side (and I live in a country where most women are petite) so wearing three inch heels is like telling people not to go near me. But once in a while, I try and not act as self-conscious as I am because I am taller than the rest of the crowd.

Cheap Shoes are hard to find especially in styles you like, so when a particular shoe store goes on sale, I try and make budget for it and buy around as many pairs as I can. ShoeOcean.com has a variety of shoes from heels to wedges, sandals and boots and I am reminded I need reserve heels for parties that may arise.

We are a family with big feet. Seriously. I wear size 11 shoes, my husband wears an 11, my daughter who is only four, wears size 12 and my son, who is only 9, wears an 8. We actually buy shoes more often than clothes because we wear them down to their early death all the time. Add to our big feet is the fact that three of us, except my husband, are flat-footed. So we need form-fitting shoes that are of high quality but doesn’t sacrifice fashion and style. Shoes with those criteria are hard to find and if we do find shoes that fit all of our standards, it can get quite pricey. It is a good thing that I have discovered the value and wisdom of online shopping – I can scout for shoes, even boys sandals for my nephew, without having to pay for my gasoline and food while I go to the malls.

Have you ever wondered how to fit your kid’s feet correctly? At Start-rite, they share a video on how to correctly measure your children’s shoe size.I have done this so I can buy shoes for them online and do not need to carry them along when I buy shoes at the mall.

Coming in preppy stripes or in Toms’ signature worn canvas, the heels are comfy without looking it, and retail for $69. Same deal applies here too—for every shoe you buy, Toms will donate a pair (of the non-wedged version, probably) to a child needing shoes. Now that’s a buy you can feel good about.
