Spring is here – which means it is time to show more skin! It is always best to do some exfoliating to let the glow of one’s skin after a harsh winter shine through. Don’t forget to moisturize too! The image above are what most celebrities use for their skin – and surprisingly, they are very affordable! I actually use most items off that list too!
The skin is the largest organ of the body. It is often the most neglected as well. Women often mistake buying trendy clothes and tons of make-up when they should be investing on their skin. Nothing is more attractive than a glowing, youthful, clear skin and not even make-up can hide it. Natural beauty is always the most attractive to men.
So how do you take care of your skin?
It depends on what age group you belong to. But the most important thing is to guard your self against excessive sun exposure. Wear sun block, and use it all the time. Before anything else, you need to protect yourself from the sun. It will not protect you from getting skin cancer, but wearing sun block and avoiding tanning beds will help you delay the signs of aging and improve your skin. Remember, the lighter your skin tone is, the more susceptible you are to the effects of UVA and UVB light. Even dermatologists have advised people to wear sunscreen indoors.
You should also know your skin type. Knowing your skin type will allow you to use specific products that will treat problem areas in your skin. Most women have combination skin – dry in some areas, oily in some areas. And pay particular attention to how your skin behaves in different seasons. You may flare up during winter or summer. The key here is to properly know you skin type and how you react to weather changes, and then go from there.
When you’re in your 20’s:
Your skin is at it’s finest. It’s firm and supple, and the best thing you can do to maintain that youthful skin is to use sun protection. You still have time to prevent further damage, so using sun block with SPF above 30 every single day (even on cloudy or rainy days!) will definitely allow you to be one step ahead of the game all the time.
When you’re in your 30’s:
If you have been using sunscreen religiously since you were in your 20s, you just need to maintain a clean routine of skincare along with using sun block everyday. Cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize. That’s the key. It may also be wise to use an eye cream and add it to your skin care.
When you’re in your 40’s or 50’s:
Start treating areas like your neck, mouth, around the eyes and forehead with different products designed to correct different aging problems (sagging, wrinkles, etc). You are lucky there is technology available to correct sun damage. Vitamin C plays an important role in your life as well.
Above everything else, lead a healthy lifestyle. One of the benefits of a healthy diet, consistent exercise and avoiding harmful substances (smoking, alcohol and drugs) is good skin.
Hydrate yourself with water, take vitamin supplements, squeeze in exercise whenever your can and get enough sleep. You may not see the effects when you’re in your 20s or 30s, but when you hit 40s, you really would start to the pay the price for all those late nights.

Writing about norton renewal coupon code and go daddy coupon code is one of the projects where the author, AbieL, is busy with. She is writing for Business Opportunities Expo and You Love Coupons.
While my husband is crazy obsessed with cars lately, even learning about aem cold air intake and oil changes (he graduated from Mechanical Engineering), I am back to my first love – make-up! I have been distracted by bags and shoes and clothes, but I have always loved make-up and skin care, moreso.
I am not splurging on anything, I still have great sets from my last haul. It’s a good thing I went into a try-it-all spree. Now I know which products are worth investing for and is compatible with skin type and chemistry. I am excited to receive my birthday gift, the Urban Decay Naked Palette, and my skin care regimen (Clinique 3 Step) is good for another year so I am all set.
I am just looking for anti-aging creams because I am in my 30s already and a good sunblock. For the body, I just turn to my all-time favorite since high school, the Body Shop!
Thanks to technology, the problem of unwanted hair in both men and women can now be eliminated with laser technology. Imagine never having to pluck, shave, thread or wax unwanted hair ever! Laser Hair Removal has been proven to be safe and effective in permanently removing hair in areas of the body. It is a is a series of treatments that will last for more than 3 to 4 months. This is because the treatment is not finished in a day. It requires the next treatment to be at least 4 to 8 weeks apart. This time allows the treated part of your body to adjust before moving on to the next phase of the treatment. This allotted time is also meant to observe if the patient has any developed allergies or abnormalities in the skin.
If you are looking for Laser hair removal DC services, Cultura is the best center to go to. They are known as the top Laser hair removal Maryland center, and in the US. It maintains an inventory of 12 hair removal lasers as part of the hair removal system for men and women. And what they are proud of is that they tailor hair removal treatment plans based on the patient’s skin color, ethnicity, tan level, skin sensitivity, hair diameter and hair color.
Laser hair removal cost is based on the site treated and costs range from $150 for smaller areas to $500-$700 for larger areas.
They say prevention is cheaper than solving a problem once it’s there. That is why anti wrinkle cream prices are usually pricey. But if you think about it, you will be saving more in the future than to need to undergo surgery, or worse, if you cannot do anything about it anymore.
I am a fan of home recipes for skin care. All-natural is the way to go. That is why I am coveting Lush’s Dream Cream.

Incredibly soothing body lotion for troubled skin. Dream Cream is LUSH’s best-selling product because it makes sore skin feel good again. Chamomile and lavender calm irritations, reduce redness and banish blotches. Mark considers it his favourite product because it makes so many people so happy.
For lifeless hair:
Here’s a hair remedy using apple juice.
Mix 1 tablespoon of apple juice with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
After shampooing and conditioning, apply to the ends of the hair, leave for a minute and then rinse. The acidity of the apple juice will flatten the hair cuticle leaving it more reflective of light and, as such, a lot shinier.
For Body scrub
Take 2 tablespoons of fine sea salt and mix to a paste with a heavy oil such as olive oil or even better, brazil nut oil. This is deeply nourishing for the skin.
Wet the skin and apply to the backs of arms, legs and anywhere where the skin is rough.
Don’t use on the décolleté area. Rinse off.
Hair care
As a pre-wash, use this hair recipe using eggs.
Eggs are really good for the hair and a great source of protein. Beat 2 eggs then add 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. Olive oil improves the tensile strength of the hair. You can double up the quantities for longer hair.
Massage the mixture in to dry hair, wrap a towel around your head and leave for 10 minutes.
Shampoo and condition out.
The olive oil will help to improve the tensile strength of the hair, making it much less likely to break when you’re combing it after shampoo and conditioning.
When hair’s wet it’s at it’s most fragile, so this will help stop hair breakage.
The eggs will give softness and shine over-and-above what your normal conditioner will do. Eggs are extremely mucilaginous—the residue will last beyond shampooing and conditioning—and a great source of nutrition, as they are full of protein. They give a rich feeling to the hair, leaving it soft and shiny.
I have been getting great feedback on the many tea tree oil uses and how it can remove pimples.
Tee tree oil has many curative powers and can be use to cure a lot of ailments. The reason comes from the fact that tea tree oil is a powerful antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial, and fungicide. This covers a lot of ground. Tea tree oil comes from the Melaleuca alternifolia tree. The oil is extracted by the distillation of the leaves and small branches of the Melaleuca tree.
The oil has been used by the Australian Aboriginal people for many years, and is just now becoming popular with the rest of the world. Some great uses for tree tea oil include the treatment of acne. This treatment is far more effective then most of the treatments that you can purchase from the pharmacist. To treat acne with tea tree you take a cotton swab soaking the end of the swab in the oil, then applying it to the effected area.
My sister loves Korean and Japanese music and their celebrities that it is no wonder she has began to apply Korean and Japanese fashion into her clothes. Lately, she has been using Korean make-up products as well. She is all praises for The Face Shop, comparing it to a metal building for its quality.
The Face Shop is a South Korea-based retailer of body, bath, skin care and make-up products aimed at both women and men. It was founded in 1962 as a wholesale manufacturer of cosmetics. In 2003 the first retail stores opened, and spread rapidly. As of December 2005, there were 400 Face Shop branches in South Korea. The company’s marketing is largely based on natural products. The CEO of "TheFaceShop Co., Ltd." is Jeong Un-ho. There are now stores in many countries including Australia, Brunei, Canada, China, the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, and Vietnam.
If I can have Korean skin like this, I promise I will hoard Face Shop products to death:
They have the Pore Minimizer Line:
And they call it the Brightening Line – instead of whitening, because they claim your skin glows:
The Brightening Rice Cleanser
And here is what they have to say:
To achieve captivating skin, you should not stop at cleansing. Once or twice a week, apply facial masks, which wrap your skin, blocking air and other external factors, thus allowing hydrating nutrients and deep-cleansing ingredients to be sealed in the outermost layer of the skin instead of released out to the air.
Bacne: Acne that rears its ugly head on your back, chest, and/or body. Your best defense against (mild) bacne is by wearing breathable fabrics like cotton and washing with a medicated cleanser. Also be sure to remove sweaty clothing or wet bathing suits as soon as possible to avoid the spread of bacteria which can make your bacne worse.
Thigh Rub: If you have a set of juicy thighs that touch when you walk, you likely have experienced the dreaded thigh rub. If you haven’t, rejoice because it’s not pleasant. At all. Thighs that rub together create friction on the skin which leads to painful chaffing. You would need lubricant to make sure it wont happen – BodyGlide is one.
Sweat: Breathable fabrics like cotton are recommended. Try switching to a more powerful deodorant and carry some baby wipes with you to freshen up.
Sunburn: You may find relief with some aspirin and aloe-based lotions. Cool baths are also an option, but avoid scrubs, oils, and perfumes and be super gentle with the skin to avoid infection. See your doctor if you have severe sunburn.
