A friend is getting married in a few months and one thing they have not finalized yet is their honeymoon. They are both well-traveled so they are having some difficulty deciding where to go because they want a destination that they both have not been to yet.
They are skipping the local offerings because they have both traveled within the country extensively both for pleasure and for business. They are setting their sights on a European honeymoon because Europe is one place that they both have not toured yet. Their only concern is their budget because the wedding is already a huge expense. My friend is even willing to stay in cheap hotels in London city centre just to be able to have their dream honeymoon.
According to her, a tour around Europe need not be very expensive. She is now researching everything that she can if they do push through with a European tour. She has lists of places to eat and stay that are on the lower end of the budget spectrum. She is also listing down their projected expenses on transportation, entrance fees, and other miscellaneous things. She is keeping her fingers crossed that after the research and the computations, the total amount would still be within their budget.
Not too many people would think of Israel as a destination when planning their vacation. Some family friends though have just recently been on a Tour to Israel and although you cannot expect a luxurious and relaxing getaway, you can definitely expect an enriching experience. Their anecdotes were intriguing and inspiring that I even thought of bringing all of us on one of those Israel Tours someday.
A lot of agencies offer these tours and one of the more reliable ones is Ayelet Tours, Ltd. They specialize in bringing people to Israel for spiritual adventures. They organize tours for both students and adults, and also Bar mitzvah tours Israel. Their tours will give you not only a visual feast of Israel but also a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Jewish and Christian heritage. Some of their tours even include meeting some political officials, business leaders, journalists, and organizational heads.
I know that a tour like this will be a great educational experience not just for me and my husband but also for our kids. Hopefully, aside from my plans of beach trips, shopping trips, and a trip to Disneyland for our future vacations, Israel has just been added to my growing list of family vacation destinations.
A vacation in Paris is a dream come true for most people. It is something that does not often happen for many which is why a lot of careful planning often comes with it when an opportunity for it comes around.
Among the things one needs to plan for when going on a vacation is the accommodations. Although some people only go for the best ones during any vacation, it might be better to check out cheap hotels in Paris City Centre for your Paris vacation. Below are two huge reasons why this is a good idea.
- You’ll only sleep in your room anyway. If you want to make the most out of your Paris vacation, you will be spending the days exploring the city. Your vacation would be a complete waste if you spend a lot of it inside your room. Hence, staying in a cheap hotel is reasonable because you will only stay in your room to sleep, take a bath, and change clothes.
- It will leave you with more money for other things. There are many things to enjoy and experience in Paris. You would not want to spend a huge chunk of your vacation money on accommodation alone. Staying in a cheap hotel means that you will be able to save money which you can spend for other things in your explorations of Paris.
While everyone keeps their eye on the Eiffel Tower when they are in Europe, I have discovered that there is much to Europe than Paris. Take for example the very lush scenery and rich history of Scotland! The country has the capital Edinburgh was voted the "most desirable city in which to live in the UK" in a 2009 YouGov poll.
You can always check out hotels in Edinburgh city centre, and you will be surprised that for a country’s capital it has very lush greenery, perfect for picnics and afternoon strolls in the park.
What can you do in Edinburgh?
1. Experience bus tours.
Tickets are typically £12 and for this you get a little guide and a round trip around the main sites: Princes St, Georgian New Town, Edinburgh, Royal Mile and Holyrood Castle.
2. Get to see the Edinburgh Castle.
The main attraction you should not miss. It dominates the skyline of Edinburgh. It is a instantly recognizable as the icon of Scotland. From here you can see all across Edinburgh. The entrance is £14.
3. Go to The Royal Mile.
The Royal Mile connects Edinburgh Castle, along High Street to Holyrood Palace, the seat of the Scottish Government. It stretches a mile through the intact medieval heart of the city, along a ridge, and on the way are St. Giles Church and St. Mary’s Close and other points of historical interest. The lanes and alleys gives you a real sense of the life in medieval Edinburgh. Take a little detour to the right, to George IV Bridge St. and turn right for lunch to Victoria Street for a nice choice of quaint restaurants.
It is summer in the US and almost everybody I know has been basking the sun and trying to enjoy every minute out in the pool. Most have travel plans, thanks to the affordable family vacations packages being offered by resort hotels these days. There are great family vacation packages at the Breezes Resorts, they have great family vacation destinations located in Brazil. They even have special pricing and accommodations for groups of people (10-3). So you can bring your family and celebrate a family reunion there!
One of the things included in my bucketlist is to be able to travel extensively. And I am not talking about going to another country to shop. I want to go to another country to learn more about it, explore historical places, get lost in their culture.
And one the most exciting places in the world for me is Europe – so many countries within a few hours away from each other – by land! Don’t you want to be able to hop on a bus and land two hours later on a different country with an entirely different culture? That would be such a dream!
I am not sure if I am brave and organized enough to go on a unguided tour of Europe so I would take my chances and sign up for tour packages. Collette Vacations, a family-owned company, has over 90 years’ experience providing group tours, including national parks tours. Collette Vacations offers trips to every continent. The Sullivan family prides itself on providing high-value tours to the world’s most popular destinations.
I would like to able to experience their Europe Christmas Market tour! It is a holiday program featuring the traditional Christmas markets, historic towns and spectacular scenery of Europe. It is an eight-day tour that will take me to Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland!
Have you ever thought of getting married in such a unique way in a very special place? I have seen weddings in submarines, during diving sessions, in cemeteries and in helicopters – why not try exchanging I do’s in a Sedona hot air balloon?
If you are in Arizona, the Sedona hot air balloon rides is a must-try, even if you are not getting married. Ever since our recent family beach trip, we have been longing to go again and experience the summer winds by the beach. It would be less expensive in the long run if we invest on a beach house, say among the numerous beautiful houses on Tamarindo Real Estate. In case you don’t know, Tamarindo is a small, peaceful beach town on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. And it’s one of the hottest real estate markets in the world right now. Hundreds of condos and homes are being developed in this once secret paradise, but don’t worry about overcrowding. The locals have kept closely adhered to conservation standards that maintain the natural beauty of the location.
Tamarindo seems to be a great place to retire to. I will keep that in mind when I do.
