It has always been hard to shop for clothes, if you are a woman. It is MUCH harder if you belong to the special sizes’ category – petite and plus-sized. I am a plus-sized woman (more like plus plus) and it’s hard for me to find clothes that fit and are still fashionable. Clothes for women of special sizes tend to be more expensive too.
Here are some tips for tall women:
You are classified as tall when the inseam of your pants is 33” and above.
- Avoid too-short skirts.
- Tuck your shirt into pants to define your waist, but only if you don’t have a tummy.
- Feel free to wear horizontal prints and textured fabrics.
- Find a great tailor, or even just a decent one. Sometimes certain items are just too good to not have.
- Wear whatever shoes you like, but flats definitely work with statelier ladies when it comes to not being taller than your date.
- Medium length skirts are your best bet, somewhere between just above the knee and mid-calf.
- High waisted pants and skirts were made for tall women.
- Have fun with tall boots! Your height makes them look fantastic!

The women of today are smarter. We handle our own career, have our own money and balance life with family well. Women these days should have their own money, and know how to invest it well. Since stocks are quite risky these days, you might want to consider investing in mutual funds or even buy gold coins . Gold prices are benefiting from the weakness of the dollar. The dollar and gold have always moved inversely to each other so it is no surprise that gold is doing so well in this economy. There is security with gold and that is what the market is looking for. Problems in Europe and in Greece only add to the attractiveness of the yellow metal.

I do not know if I should have any woman skills I should be proud of. I can’t cook (I hate it actually), I can’t sew and I am as undomesticated as you can imagine. But I do have a crafty side. I believe I have that art “thumb”, if ever there is one. Right now I want to try my hand on ceramic tile glazing. I think it will make great accents to specific rooms in the house. AMACO/Brent has the materials and the teachers to show me how. I even did enough research to know that cone 06 glazes are for low fire glazes and cone 10 glazes are for high fire glazes. There are different dipping glazes to set off your finished plate as well!

Haven’t you noticed anything during Valentine’s Day? Before, flower arrangements were a popular gift choice during the day of hearts. You receive a dozen (more or less, depending on your preference) flowers, artistically arranged in a bouquet, with no roots, unfortunately, so they day after a few days. Now if you give plants, not just the green ones you would normally think of but flowering plants in a pot, still nicely arranged of course, there might be a chance that it will be symbolic of your declared everlasting love for your special someone. For as long as it it watered with love and taken cared of, it will be around to witness more years into your relationship.
Do you have trouble envisioning what I am saying? Let me give you a few examples:
The Azalea Bonsai. Bonsai plants have always been great indoor plants. The pink flowers add to its cuteness. I am pretty sure your special someone would always be looking at this plant.
Razzle Dazzle Rose Plant. Forgive me but I just love pink (so all my examples are pink). This would perfect for mother’s day, or as a gift to a new mother who just delivered her baby.
You can always order these online at 1-800flowers.com!
There isn’t any woman I know of who has a dream wedding in her mind. It may vary from location down to the wedding details, but if you happen to run a survey I can bet that most would love a beach wedding. Who wouldn’t? Summer is a great time for destination weddings (I got married in June), and even more perfect if you get married in the Caribbean! The El Dorado Royale resort, one of the resorts of the Karisma line of hotels, has romantic offerings such as beachside spa treatments, a beachside wedding chapel and full wedding and honeymoon coordination

Don’t you want to get married here?
I read this article from Yahoo and cannot help post it here. We all need to be reminded once in a while.
An affair is one of the most difficult challenges a couple can face, and nothing destroys a romantic relationship faster than infidelity. Is it really possible to affair-proof your relationship? The answer is, "Yes, it’s possible." But in order to make that happen, it’s important to know what causes an affair in the first place.
An affair is an extreme symptom of a relationship that has been in trouble for some time. Affairs do not happen out of the blue and rarely happen because someone is a bad person. Cheating is caused by one single factor: "Lack." In a relationship, it’s a lack of love, attention, intimacy, recognition, respect, and connection that builds up over time. Eventually, this "lack" can become so painful that the person in the most pain will often act out by cheating. Because communication has broken down, the cheating person doesn’t feel like they can talk to their partner, so that makes them vulnerable to cheating.
So, how do you avoid getting to this point in a relationship? Below are seven ways to avoid the "lack" and prevent a potential affair.
1. Avoid complacency. Don’t ever take your relationship for granted. Partnerships need to be nourished daily by a kind word, appreciation, a loving kiss, a smile. Complacency is a warning signal that you and your partner are out of touch with each other.
2. Keep the lines of communication open. Don’t sweep issues under the rug. They won’t go away! Learn ways to resolve differences so that recurring arguments don’t continue.
3. Pay attention to your gut. If you’re feeling something isn’t quite right in your relationship, 99 percent of the time you’re correct. Find a way to approach your partner to talk about things. Keep your relationship current by checking in on a weekly basis to make sure problems aren’t building up.
4. Find time for each other. Don’t get so busy that you forget to have a date with your partner. Make time away from chores and work to renew your loving feelings. Remember how important your mate is to you. Tell them, by making time for them.
5. Know when it’s a time of stress and pay attention to your partner even more. Some common trigger times for extra stress in a relationship are job changes, health problems, changes in finances, and the death of a family member or friend. During these stressful periods, pay extra attention to your relationship. Let your partner know you’re there, and make even more time to connect with each other.
6. Understand the real issues in your relationship. Learn tools for resolving arguments. Avoid blaming, shaming, and the need to always be right in an argument. Learn what you’re really fighting about so that you can resolve your issues. If you’re fighting about the wrong thing, you’ll never resolve arguments.
7. Always remember what it was that made you fall in love with your partner. Too often we allow our disagreements to cloud our love for our significant other, and we forgot why we even fell in love! Keep your sense of humor. Give your partner the benefit of the doubt and don’t make them your enemy.
Avoid the "lack" and affair-proof your relationship by staying conscious of yourself and your partner. Nurture each other and keep the lines of communication open.
Anybody nice enough to send me a copy of Cosmo Men in Korea? I would love and be forever indebted to you forever. Rain and the love of my life, Gong Yoo, are featured in the Cosmo Men section of the magazine and you all know how much I love this man. Yes, his picture needs to be this big as well.

He can wear safety glasses, a blond wig or something really dorky but still come out as hot, I swear. And since this is a women’s blog, it is my responsibility to fill it with men hotness from time to time, right?
I detest smoking and unkempt moustaches, but with this man it is always an exception
I should be looking at the availability of a Plano dentist we need to see but here I am drooling over the new collection Le Sportsac will be coming out with. I have never been interested in them until now. I find the designs cute and I am sure my kids would love using them too!
